	Brian Marcy, Winemaker Joined the team in 2006. Brian worked his first harvest in 1996 at Sterling Vineyards. Having studied fermentation science at UC Davis, he took to the process of winemaking easily and loved it.  Brian worked in the Napa Valley and learned from many of the most esteemed winemakers and wineries.  This included Blankiet Estate, Helen Turley & Associates, Marcassin, Neyers Vineyards, and Turley Wine Cellars to name a few.  Brian also spent a harvest working in Australia at Trevor Jones Fine Wines.  Brian and his wife Clare are partners in their own wine project and farm, called Big Table Farm.   Leslie Dressel, Tasting Room Manager and Events Coordinator Joined the team in 2009. Leslie owned the Bay House restaurant on the Oregon Coast for 14 years and fell in love with hand-crafted Oregon wines. Before her venture into the fine dining and wine business, Leslie was a graphic designer in Seattle and worked on creative campaigns for Nordstrom, Herman Miller Furniture, Samsung and Columbia Winery. She enjoys the hospitality of Coelho Winery and creating  warm and inviting events. Michelle Burlitch, Director of Marketing Joined the team in 2008 Michelle moved to Oregon from rural, upstate New York.  She and her husband, Shahab, were invited to a dinner party at the home of Winemaker Brian Marcy and his wife Clare. The stars lined up that night, because Michelle hadn’t started an Oregon job yet and Brian was about to start harvest without a cellar rat.  The frenzy of harvest was so much fun that Michelle stayed on as the Sales Coordinator, and Warehouse Manager. Michelle can still occasionally be found in the cellar happily stirring barrels and topping wines.    Susan Powell, Wine Specialist Joined the team in 2006 Susan, with 41 years experience in the hospitality and fine dining industry came to Coelho winery looking for something with a more leisurely pace.  Our tasting room was a perfect fit.  Susan loves meeting new people and learning what brought them to our door.  Stop by and see Susan for a warm chat and some knowledgeable wine conversation. Rachel Hudson, Wine Club Coordinator Joined the team in 2006 Rachel Hudson started at Coelho winery in 2006. She’d been in the coffee industry since 1998 and was ready to explore new territories and focus her coffee connoisseuring  towards wine.  She has since then realized her knack for keeping up with our wine club and soon grew into the position of Wine Club Coordinator.   Teresa Wright, Wine Server and Outside Sales Joined the team in 2008 Teresa Wright joined us in 2008 and didn’t take her long to fit right in.  She loves the retail business and always has a friendly smile and warm story for our guests.  Teresa enjoys world travel and trips to the dog park. Sharon Meyer, Bookkeeper Joined the team in 2008   Sharon keeps up with the extensive taxes and bookkeeping of the winery.  She’s got a knack for numbers and runs a tight ship.
