2006 was a standout year, and our third release of Paciência promises an exceptional wine. This year produced a beautifully supple vintage, fragrant and expressive with fruit, toast, and spice and tawny plum in color. Leading the palate are blended notes of raspberry, blackberry, dark stone fruits, cloves and the zing of fine tannins. It finished with finesse, and the full array of flavors discovered. A classic Oregon nose of cherry, brown spice and earth, followed by a gentle mouthful of brambly raspberry, red cherry, cinnamon, tea leaf and barrel toast framed with a halo of ultrafine tannins.
